We have just returned from a wonderful time through UK, Portugal, France and Italy is was only a short time but mainly to network and research for the magazine. We were just thrilled to meet with so many that have been in the magazine or contributed.

As many travellers will know it is difficult to know what to pack … I am hopeless and usually forget something and take other items I don’t use. Looking at the forecast, we saw that there were to be a few rainy days… did a say a few!!! Well, each and every day was overcast and many it just rained. I must admit that I have never before taken a raincoat with me on my travels and then have to buy an umbrella which isn’t really enough in those cold windy rain. I can’t tell you how pleased we are that we packed our Muddy Creek Raincoats!!! They are lightweight so we didn’t need to question whether or not to take plus would also provide an extra coat to protect against the cold weather. The lightness is something that is always a bonus when travelling as if we took off the jackets they were easy to carry. On many days, I only took my Muddy Creek jacket as this was sufficient with a scarf and gloves as this jacket is smart enough not to realise it is a raincoat! Also has 4 inside pockets so could tuck in my phone or money in plus was able to protect my camera too! I was amazed how quick the jacket dried too as never had to worry about packing a wet jacket at all.

We have returned home to the warmer climate but guess what …. it has rained! Danielle has been using her jacket to go down to the stables to feed her horses.

These jackets are not only for when travelling but perfect for when riding and caught out in the rain and so lightweight to carry and can get in long or short and I like the velcroe sleeves so I could tighten to my wrist size.

I love my Muddy Creek jacket and can highly recommend. Go and check out their web page http://www.muddycreekraingear.com.au/
